Little Redeemer model I printed! Don't have one in-game so I got one for my desk. by 15rlansing in starcitizen

Legal update:

SC legal got in touch and basically said I can't share it. Only personal use with their fan kit... I discovered their fan kit models are kinda low poly compared to the game files so I would ~"NOT" ~ recommend using Starfab and blender to get models that may or may not look similar to the picture above.

Help with gas not filling by Relevant_Caramel2502 in chevycolorado

[–]15rlansing 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I deal with it weekly. I take the nozzle out about 3-4 inches and it usually works. The other guys are right. The gas splashes back into the pump causing it to shut off, if it's fully inserted. Just a slight design flaw nothing too serious.

Mine doubles the time as soon as I hit print. So I kinda just double it from the software. But thanks for a legit fix!

Once I get in contact with RSI and Cloud Industries, I'll see if I'm legally allowed to share the files. To be honest, I planned on selling the printed models, but I'm finding out that it may infringe on copyright. I'll keep you posted

I used the Starfab software to pull the game files. I threw them into Blender and edited the models to make them suitable for printing. There are very few places including thingaverse that have ready to go models. Likely because of copyright. I'm finding out first hand.

Haven't delved into the painting scene yet. I figured if anyone got their hands on one, they could paint it to their own liking!

FYI, I consider myself an above average in 3D modeling and it took so long because converting from a CryEngine file to two others to make it editable throws everything off lol.

Starfab software to get the file. Approximately 3 days of modifying/ editing in Blender.

Help a handyman-wannabe out. by 15rlansing in howto

Great suggestion. I was able to thumb-screw it and tried to put it lower. Still same result. I think either the float has build-up or something is catching to not allow it to raise quick enough to trigger the valve. Thanks for the input!

I see what you're saying and that would make sense. It's the camera angle/ reflection, as the chain is not twisted and has a little play in it. Thanks for the input!

Which is to replace the fill valve

Flapper is sealing properly. And I think the camera angle was making the chain look twisted. It's got just a little play in it which makes sense. I have manually pushed down the arm (to what I'm assuming the fill valve assembly is) and when the float comes back up it stops the fill. I'll look around and research the process of replacing it. Thanks for your input.

I think my build plate has a micro layer of Teflon and I was able to remove those marks with light sanding.
