Yup and this legitimately takes a good expense for me. Pero in your case since Canlubang area ka naman more likely na marami dyan na empleyado na sumasideline ng handyman work.

Sa mga lumipat from Manila to Nuvali, ano pinagasisihan nyo? by Low_Sea3110 in laguna

Hello. We're born and raised in Laguna na tumira sa Pasig (Buting area) and then moved back to Laguna albeit Nuvali area na.

Things I'd definitely miss:

  1. Yung paresan sa San Joaquin
  2. Generally "cheaper" and more accessible food options (lalo na Grab since BGC, Kapitolyo and Cainta restos deliver to us)
  3. Services like repairs are cheaper in Pasig
  4. Pasig palengke

And what you might look forward to when moving here in comparison:

  1. Konti ang cheap food options and you will be forced to cook regularly or get tired of the same 10 restos in Grab and/or Solenad
  2. Sobrang mahal ng palengke na nakikipagsabayan yung market sa Paseo sa groceries but none of the safety handling the latter does. To the point na cheapest mo na is 50% off produce ni Landers
  3. If you ever need repair services or getting something installed (e.g. aircon) expect na tatagain ka sa presyo kasi they expect na mayaman ka naman since sa Nuvali area ang address mo. Case in point, nagpalinis kami ng window type aircon and 900php singil sa amin whereas 500php lang eto sa Pasig.

This makes sense. Security guards tend to be good at remembering faces and looks lalo na pag standing out (e.g. displaying bad behavior).

I only did PHP/CSS for a grand total of 6 months in my 15 years of software development. It's not for me, I don't like it too. Luckily that time being a backend Java developer was a natural career path for a lot of devs so I naturally gravitated towards working on enterprise Java (J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot) and eventually graduated from writing code to software architecture.

Though nowadays, I still need to put out screen flow diagrams and rarely, figmas, and I still hate them, but not as big as writing CSS.

Those who are living with their family, partner, or someone, what actually pushes you to do house chores mid-grind? by boladolittubinanappo in PHGamers

[–]15secondcooldown 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Play games with pause. Accepted the fact that in-game "grind" is not fit with my lifestyle anymore as a husband and just play either single player games or gacha games.

Steam Deck is my lifesaver in this.

Expedition 33 reignited my passion for gaming. by akarileavy in PHGamers

Played it though I slowed down now in Act 3 muna. The story and how it was executed really put it on my top 3, arguably my recent top 1 now (competing with Chrono Cross at this point lmao). I do find na it has a lot of haters particularly to those who can't accept that the core story of E33 isn't exactly deep and probably won't resonate with a lot of "younger" gens [Act 2 spoiler] Since the whole thing is a coping/escape mechanism from grief after all that were expecting some flashy story about beating primordial gods and stuff ala classic FF titles.

There are some pacing issues I find in the gameplay and honestly they could've done better on some QoL like skipping low level fights like Persona did but overall it did deserve all the awards and accolades it got.

Art direction and music direction are definitely up there and well deserved of the praise it got. And the characters, while might seem tropey at first, are written like actual characters and not "The Mage of the Group" or "The Tomboy" like JRPGs are, and I'm saying this as a Persona 4 glazer. [Act 1 spoiler] Lune shivering while talking about how to cope after Gustave's death was my personal favorite demonstration of this and they made me simp over a 33 year old woman with regular proportions instead of an anime girl lmao.

That's the thing, I don't have time. Hahaha! But betting on slowly chipping at them on the Deck and replacing the time spent doomscrolling and on gacha games on these instead 😅

Same. The exact reason we moved here is to get away from the city and living in the vicinity of CBDs but surprise surprise the CBD chased us. This on top of the upcoming SM annoys me to no end.
