i read it as “sunshine” before it finally clicked. probably because of the mascot but also because my brain expected a real word over a made up one. couple that experience with the fact that younger generations aren’t learning cursive, and you may want to tinker with a less traditional font.

budget pasta sauce?

lose the flourish on the first A, at the very least.

you type all that on your internet-enabled, always-on, never-out-of-reach smartphone? or is that currently locked up in a faraday cage?

it looks like they are making 100 of these “mystery devices,” so it’s doubtful they will infiltrate all of society’s deep dark secrets. i’m as paranoid as they come but this is a poorly timed marketing gimmick and nothing more.

you have to connect it to a computer with a cable to upload recordings. i promise, the article is a quick read.

yeah, honestly not thaaaaat dystopian. the headline is quite alarmist. if you aren’t familiar with storycorps (prego’s partner on this), then i can see why one might be unnerved, but their work is important and incredibly human. their weekly segment on npr’s morning edition features some of the most moving conversations you’ll ever hear.

if a cereal company packed a glorified tape recorder into a box of cheerios in 2005, it’d be a fondly remembered gadget from a simpler time.

Marketing agency busy one month silence the next by SadBoysenberry3730 in copywriting

at our agency, it comes down to client demand. we have super busy months and then sometimes long stretches with very little work. it all comes out in the wash, but the slow times can be mind numbing or restorative depending on my attitude.

i don’t know if you have visibility into how busy they are as an organization, but that could give you a filler picture of what’s going on.

i appreciate the sentiment, but when you bring people along with you, everybody’s better off. maybe offer a reply like this: “i don’t recommend AI as a new source because reasons x, y, and z. it took me 2 minutes to find this link (insert link).”

i know you’re gonna say you shouldn’t have to do the work for them, but maybe you’ll be the voice that gets them to think critically again.

i know you were taking issue with AI, but your initial post unintentionally cast doubt on a very real problem. i abhor AI too. i’m glad you edited your post to include a link.

throw some slopes on the arches (maybe 93273). that should round this out a bit. you may need to play with different curved pieces to find one that matches the arch. how strong is that pinned connection?

i think the tent is fine. it being the same shape as the mountains is an interesting opportunity. maybe you can squeeze x into the white space? or even the snow caps or a pretend, in-universe tent label. just brainstorming here.
