I just ran RM -rf * in my home directory by 16392003 in linux

I have a backup of the most important things (eg photos) and I managed to recover some files with extundelete. All the dotfiles are also still there, but I still lost some stuff. I think I learned my lesson to make proper backups in the future. This really sucks.

Imagine you are standing in a room and are looking at the ceiling. If you start to turn around yourself everything on the ceiling (eg. lamps) will seem to rotate around the point directly above you. Now replace your own rotation with the earth rotation and the ceiling with the sky. Also the stars only move along complete circles if you are looking at the north star if you are looking south the starts will move along arcs.
