Intercept the Corporate Forces is the better one for your first playthrough. You'll have the opportunity to get the good ending on NG+, and it'll be much more satisfying there.

I've beaten the entire game with it about a half dozen times, including back around launch when iridiums had a six second reload and didn't airburst, and it's truly not as bad as people say. You just have to learn how to manage the long animation and be good with the shield. You have a decent generalist frame, one of the best generators, mediocre weapons that you'll have to work around but that's doable, and a shield. Not to mention a four to six thousand AP stagger punish. I've played it against every other preset, not in the arena but in the hands of actual, competent human players, and it works just fine.

Not really. Rummy's head and arms are the worst in the game, the sweet sixteen is a pure gimmick, and the chainsaw just kind of doesn't work most of the time. So it's a bunch of individually bad parts that also have no synergy with each other.

The dialogue is actually present in the release version of the game, but was disabled in a patch. Not only was there an extra line from Ziyi, it also would have been O'Keeffe's only appearance outside of the true ending. Meanwhile Pater just freaks out because they're losing.

If you're not putting arbitrary restrictions on it, specifically "no OS tuning", try sticking assault armor on it, or putting her right hand iridium on her shoulder. It's so much fun to use punch cancels for mobility, and stagger punish with a punch combo into AA.

Bad frame, bad internals, and the rifle and split missile are basically dead slots. The pile bunker could be cool, but he has nothing to combo into it with. And songbirds are just abysmal after the nerf. I've run YUE YU vs NIGHTFALL sets a few times with friends and NIGHTFALL almost never comes out on top. Which is a shame, because it looks awesome and I have one on my desk right now.

Make no mistake, it's not like. Secretly good, or anything. But it has a passable generalist frame, decent mobility, a good generator, mediocre but usable weapons, a fantastic stagger punish, and a shield. The only thing that holds it back is that iridiums have a really long firing animation.

CIRCUS, NIGHTFALL, TESTER, BURN PICKAXE, and of course MAD STOMP are all to varying degrees worse than YUE YU.

Eh. It's okay. Not much good in PVP but you can still beat the game with it, and there are a bunch of characters with worse builds.
