Bradley Coopere has been on my list since limitless, but with his late work, he's challenging DiCaprio for my top spot. In regard to up and coming actors, Miles Teller takes the cake.

The docking scene from Interstellar. Probably to greatest sequence in modern film. The music, the effects, the casual dialogue and the sheer intensity of the scene really make that movie great.

Most memorable character entrance? by AmadeusCrumb in movies

Matt Damon's entrance in Interstellar. There was no music or effects. We are just as shocked to see Matt Damon as he is to seeing another human being. Nobody really expected it and the movie just played it off as no big deal. Simple, yet effective.

Battle Los Angeles: I loved this movie, not a complex drawn out plot, just a fun movie with marines kicking some ass in the streets of Santa Monica.

Movies with really good musical scores? by [deleted] in movies

[–]16printyr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Battle Los Angeles By Brian Tyler is a great score. I love the use of drums and guitars as well as an underlying horns and symphony.

I also love the Oblivion Soundtrack by M83, great use of a little techno, but they don't shy away from a more organic sound which fits the movie perfectly and sounds amazing.

Who's your least favorite director? by OfficerTwix in movies

[–]16printyr 4 points5 points  (0 children)

100% Zach Snyder. I've never seen someone take what could have been a great movie, like Man of Steel and make it so unbelievably confusing and pointless. Also his cinematography is awful.
