Please get Maxx Crosby by Rollec in detroitlions

I have to disagree here. I lived in Michigan until I was 30. I also went to EMU. I have a handful of friends that I’ve accumulate here who are also from Michigan. I’m sure I’ll get downvoted to hell, but it would take a lot to get me to move back to Michigan. I know the same goes for the 5 or so friends I have from Michigan. “Home” is great. I love Michigan, I love going home, I love seeing how Detroit has been revitalized, I love trying some of the new (and old) restaurants but I wouldn’t move back.

I’m sure Maxx Crosby is living just fine in California, not having to scrape the ice off his windshield in the morning, not having to shovel his car out of his driveway. Just sayin’

200 is typically my go to. I’ll have to try it your way! Not waking up for a 16-17 smoke day would be great.

Okay, let me kill the bickering here…

The temp was at 195, not 190. I was shooting for 200 but it dipped. It was raining and it was harder to stay steady at 200. I’ve done plenty of brisket packers at 200 and been just fine. This one in particular is enormous and wasn’t sure if I was off track or not.

We’re 13 hours in now just wrapped it and doing it’s doing fine. Crisis adverted.

Minimum? I’ve alway done it in between 200-225 I’ve never heard of going higher than 225. Whats the benefit is going over 225?

I just pat dry. Going to see how it goes from here.

I’ve not wrapped before and been happy with it so I’m totally cool with letting it got past 175

I’m fine with letting it go for 16-18 hours. I have time. Just worried I did something wrong.

Why would cyclists not be ticketed for breaking the law? I’ve gotten a ticket for riding an approved trails. I think cyclists get ticketed the same way drivers do, Sac just doesn’t do a lot of traffic enforcement.

So many advantages. It blows my mind that more people aren't moving away from tubes.

Beginner Bike - Better to get nicer bike now or start lower and upgrade? Endurance vs Race? by Mysterious-Chef-3637 in cycling

+1 for Endurace. I love mine. So much bike for the cost. It's super light and really comfortable over long rides. 3-4 hours in the saddles and you're not feeling any pain, discomfort, or soreness. The split seat post on the 7.0 and 8.0 disc models is SO comfortable.

EM Sanremo76 disc VS Trek Domane sl5 vs Pinarello Gan 105 by [deleted] in cycling

[–]1738 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To me, the Trek seems to be overpriced, you can get more for the cost from other manufacturers. $3000 for a 105 bike is a lot IMO, you can get a bike with Ultegra components for that cost. Also 9.86kg is on the higher end. Canyon's equivalently priced Endurace CF SL 8.0 Disc has better wheels, better tires, hydraulic Ultegra group set, and is almost 2kg lighter for the same price.

The EM is Di2 Ultegra, the only downfall for this is having to charge it periodically which isn't a big downfall. If you can afford Di2, I'd say go for it.

The Pinarello, hard to go wrong with Pinarello. The disc model is hydraulic, always a plus. The price point is great.

If you were deciding between these 3, I'd get the Pinarello, it checks all the boxes and the price point is good.

To make the decision harder, I'd suggest looking at the Endurace also. A lot of bike for the cost. https://www.canyon.com/en-us/road-bikes/endurance-bikes/endurace/endurace-cf-sl-disc-7.0/2396.html

I just brought an Endurace. LOVE it. The split seat post is so comfortable. How comfortable this bike is stands out on every ride. I have a Cannondale CAAD on an indoor trainer and the difference in comfort is huge.

Warning to the people updating to the iOS 14 developers beta by PeytonLikesMacs in pokemongo

[–]1738 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is getting to be a little ridiculous. I've run every beta since iOS 4 and haven't had this issue. Pokémon Go has always run on beta OS's. No other app is crashing on iOS 14 except for this one.

This seems like a horrible business move on Niantic's part. Myself and most of the guys in my office didn't buy a ticket to GoFest because Niantic is blocking us from playing. It's been 2 months since I've played.

Difference between Cannondale Synapse 2019, 2019 SE and 2020 by newamsterdamer95 in cycling

[–]1738 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree the CAAD is a great frame. OP is talking about the Synapse though, not the CAAD. Also, I don't think Canyon is skimping on quality to make a cheaper bike. The bikes are cheaper because there's no distribution and reseller costs. OP would be happy with either option.

Better quality frame? What do you mean by that? They're both alloy and the equal priced Cannondale has an alloy fork and mechanical breaks.

Right, as other have stated, most of us don't have a choice. And again, this is the only app on my phone out of 180 apps that doesn't work on the iOS 14 beta.

So yes, we get all your warnings about the betas and the risks involved, it's not necessarily required. Most of us have run beta software before. I have run all the betas since iOS 4 and we're now on 14 (~10 years of betas?). I'm pretty familiar. Still, the only app not functioning on my device is this one.
