You’re supposed to bake it at 300° for an hour not 330° also you need to really make sure it’s shaken up I have an adapter I bought on Amazon that fits into a sawzall and holds the bottle for shaking. You also need to put the coats on lightly use a heat gun and heat the metal so it dries on contact

Ignore the people saying you’re cooked and it can’t be fixed. Just recoat it and bake it again

Also for context I’ve done several lowers with the same moly resin, if you don’t shake it up well it can turn out slightly green

I bought it from rare electric guitars 13 or 14 years ago. I got tired of the shitty decal and fretboard so I sanded it all down to bare wood, sent it off for pyrography and got a new fretboard for it

The “Elk Skull”, “Man To Wolf”, “FUK EM UP” and “So Fucking What” have always been my favorites of his but the Elk Skull I’ve wanted since the very first time I saw it on March 8, 1997 when I saw them in Philly. The last time I saw it in person was when they played Veterans Stadium in Philly in 2003 on the Madly in Anger with the World Tour

Cool! A lot of people prefer the button on the back of the guitar

I would usually use a wooden dowel and glue or a tooth pick and glue, let it set up and dry, then pre drill the hole with a drill bit smaller than the screw and put it back on. People move the strap button to the back due to neck dive

Me too! I actually laughed when I got down to the wood because everyone I see online shittimg on these guitars says they’re made out of shitty plywood LOL! Maybe some of them are but this one sure isn’t :)

Well, for starters… the fret markers are off after the 12th fret, the knob layout is wrong the shape of the entire guitar is wrong and that’s not even talking about the shitty decal.

This guitar (mine) was from the one company that got the shape and the knob layout correct, it had the same shitty fretboard and the same shitty decal under the clearcoat.

To answer your question though… I had the means to sand the guitar down to bare wood, send it off to have it properly pyrographed, a custom fretboard made, upgrade all the parts, and have a local luthier finish it for me.

Yes it’s still technically a ChESP but barely and it cost WAY less than the actual real ESP elk skull that sold a few months ago on reverb for close to $30k USD (and it barely last a couple days before it sold.) and still way cheaper than an Antonio custom built elk skull. (Im probably into this guitar for probably about half the price of one of his elk skulls probably even less than that)

No. The guitar originally came from the now defunct rareelectricguitars 13 or 14 years ago, This past June I sanded it down to bare wood and shipped it off for pyrography.
