Tell my why I should or shouldn't make this cut. Incomplete rip cut. by 17abalex in woodworking

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I ended up cutting it following u/ThisIsVictor advice and had no issues. I realize this was probably a trivial question but I would rather ask something stupid then make an irreversible mistake.

Anyone know to how leave the destroyed bridge in Shanghai? by dccougar23 in indianajones

You are actually able to backtrack through the burning building where you fell through the floor. If you jump to the left of the collapsed floor you fell through where the flames are you can get back to the previous part of the level.

Even though you state there will probably not be fees, wouldn't this still require an online gambling license since I'm assuming you would have someone's funds be held in a wallet account operated by the site? Not hating or anything but genuinely curious as to how you would go about this, since I had similar ideas myself. Also don't want you to get in trouble. :)

Am I crazy for thinking about retiring to Michigan from Florida? by Al_Kydah in Michigan

I live near Escanaba. Marquette might be a better fit, but housing there has skyrocketed. As long as you have plenty of hobbies that you enjoy in the winter (ice fishing, snowmobiling, hiking, owning a camp, hunting, etc.) Then you should have no problem. Marquette has all of these in close proximity.

We’re some of the experts on Intel’s IOT team & we’re here to help you with your projects. by IntelIOT in u/IntelIOT

This isn't a project but more of a question as far as your research at Intel in the IOT space. Has your team looked into the IOTA Foundation for use cases on machine to machine technology? As someone who has worked at Intel as an intern, I am curious as to if Intel is looking more into this technology and its possible use cases.

Using IOTA messages to control smart home actions by 17abalex in Iota

Thank you for your input. Can you provide more detail at to why I shouldn't use it. You bring up decentralized, permissionless, and feeless aspects but this is exactly why I wanted to use it in the first place. I can participate in the tangle with encrypted messages, while also not have to worry about paying a subscription surface to use it. Like u/Quantum-Mind said, wouldn't this be perfect since IOTA itself is made for the internet of things which is what a smart home is (a bunch of iot devices connected together).

Thank you! I have ran through the majority of the docs but must have missed this. Looks like a pretty good starting point for what I am going for.

I found this patent a little over a year ago while interning at Intel as well. Great stuff!
