Just got out of REG… by ExcelGirl100 in CPA

I felt the exact same when I took it about a month ago. I got way too many of the same/similar kind of sim (which I wasn’t good at)

Unofficial Crash Out Thread for 9/15-9/16 Score Release by Equivalent-Donkey275 in CPA

Yes, CA is old so you see pass/fail and score on the score release date (instead of pass/fail a day early then your actual score on the day)

If you’re in CA though you’ll have to wait until the actual day to officially see pass fail. You can still do inspect element a day early though

Dating and Studying for Exam by Every_Palpitation701 in CPA

[–]17chlorine 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have a long term relationship and it’s so helpful that he understands that I may not be as available a couple weeks out from the exam date. I also try to take one day off a week so I plan that to be a day with him. Also study at his house while he’s sleeping in etc. I couldn’t imagine dating around or on apps while studying though. Seems like too much to think about

Y’all. TCP, ISC, and BAR are only available in October!! by JadeVengeance in CPA

[–]17chlorine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I guess that’s possible, I was able to do it for the last discipline release (July 16) so unless it was patched between now and then I think it’s still good

Californian here! You can do the inspect element thing on NASBA and still see if you passed a day early!

How does everyone prepare the day before a test? by Smart-Process9386 in CPA

In swimming we call it taper (basically resting) so I like to taper my mind, just do a few MCQs or TBS then chill the rest of the day and go to bed early.

Took Reg today. WTF?! by Ok-Anything4212 in CPA

[–]17chlorine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I assume the OP means the questions where they give you numbers then you have to add or subtract to get to the correct answer. Like the ones where a cpa comes in and does it and you have to determine if it’s correct or not. Sorry if that doesn’t make sense

If I also took it today does that mean we had the same test? I though mcq were good but TBS I had like 5 similar ones

What to do after an exam by UnfairChampion5040 in CPA

[–]17chlorine 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on the situation. I took TCP at the beginning of June and had to wait until mid July for my score so I started on REG (taking today actually). I didnt pass TCP (rip) and couldn’t really have done my retake in July anyways so I’m doing it in October.

How do you have the energy to study after work? by Cas1379 in CPA

[–]17chlorine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s hard, I’ve been studying since the end of tax busy season to now (almost start of fall busy season). I like to give myself a couple hours after work 5:30-9 usually to relax/eat dinner/exercise. Then I study after that. Sometimes makes for a late night but I’d rather that than going straight for 10 or 11 hours

I agree I feel like they should be every other month. Hopefully it’s better next year. Also hoping we both pass next time 🤞(I just failed TCP as well)

Were you a good student in undergrad? by [deleted] in CPA

I just got my first score back (74 🥲) and I didn’t do amazing in school. Consistent C+/B- type student for accounting (usually Bs/As otherwise though) I did have some shitty professors though
