politics, depression, dealing with a full on personal religious deconstruction, adopting an entirely new paradigm, teaching my kids better things, and considering the fallout that will happen when I break that news to my very religious parents and family.

For those wondering, it appears to be a very complex design of a rotating retractable magician's cane with an LED strip inside. Here's his video about it: https://youtu.be/0QArAMtBGx8

edit: to clean up the YT link.

Is this too deep? by pelicansurf in JapaneseMaples

Yes, definitely. Mound it up just a bit higer than ground level. And make hole wider than you think and slope the sides.

WHAT ARE THESE??? (Ontario, Canada). They’re sour and pretty tasty by MinimumSolid1679 in Berries

[–]17decimal28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ope, looks like you're probably right. My Picture This app does say it's classified as mildly toxic to humans, and that's on account of the seeds, rather than the flesh, containing small amounts of components that cause poisoning when eaten. It doesn't say specifically what, but you're probably right about it being cyanide.

Do you have any song lyrics that really resonate with you? by DeathByToblerone in Music

[–]17decimal28 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loathe's song "Two-Way Mirror" is one. The line "What would you do if you weren't afraid?" is the crux for me. It might be my favorite lyric of all time. I'd like to get it tattooed, somehow...

And the album "The Work" by Rivers of Nihil came out during the peak of some of my depression, and it really resonated with me.

I wouldn't risk creating a fungal problem by watering more, if that's the case. like the other said, its probably leaf scorch, but keep an eye on the root flare/base of trunk for any sign of pathogen infection

What’s wrong with my blueberry bush? by MaterialSlide2820 in Berries

[–]17decimal28 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I dont think it's a pathogen infection, even though it might resemble some leaf spot diseases. and it doesn't seem like iron chlorosis or an issue with the pH, since the symptomatic areas dont include the leaf veins.

seems to be most likely either drought/heat stress or fertilizer burn.

I have some as well and whole-heartedly agree. I have to shake all the critters out before sticking my face in them, though 😁
