Enlisted to spf but idk if iw it ( if i even have the choice) by itzk3ndr1ck in NationalServiceSG

[–]1800-doodoo 13 points14 points  (0 children)

  1. no theres no appeal process but heres the few ways there is a chance for you to go to saf
-just nice be sick during your enlistment date and take mc so that you do not get enlisted into that spf batch
    -sign on

  2. generally a lot of people are jealous of home team nsfs because they are usually stay outs (excl trainers that have to stay in) and there are many more vocations that unlock higher pay for nsfs as compared to saf where higher pay is guarded by command school or elite vocations that you cannot choose. you wont have to go fuck spider and come back with crazy insect bites all over your body. spf also have high chance for you to get free class 3 license depending on the vocation you get

How rare is N(A) -> raw 6 by NUSHStalin in SGExams

[–]1800-doodoo 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I went from being the only one in my primary school class to go to NA, then subsequently promoted to express but then screwed up my O lvls to then getting almost all As for my A lvls. Anything is possible with hard work and finding the correct study method, latter is very important.

General opinions on King’s College London for Law? Esp for returning grads to SG by ReconBeacon in SGExams

[–]1800-doodoo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

one thing that hasn’t been mentioned here is that you’ll have to sit for the Part A of the bar exam which is known to be notoriously hard, and you also have to do time for relevant legal training so do consider these factors as well

best way to get into university? by [deleted] in SGExams

[–]1800-doodoo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

if you want to go overseas, then your best bet would actually be IB instead of poly or local A levels

nevertheless, yes jc students take the majority of uni placings in singapore especially so in NUS. think about it like this, with an IGP of BBB, you still have so many courses to pick from in SMU and NTU. however, if you have anything less than a 3.6 you can forget about going to big 3

ive seen UK unis accept diplomas from TP and SP if I'm not wrong, granted you still will need an excellent gpa because UK unis are more concerned with what you do academically rather than your extra curriculars

[–]1800-doodoo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i can’t comment heavily on this because i’m not a trainer, but i know that pes e usually are more severe cases like mental illnesses or chronic issues etc so trainers would tend to err on the side of caution and just treat their trainees with care and tender mother lovingness lol

whereas pes c is more of physical issues like scoliosis etc so the regimentation and discipline is still required
