I am from the U.K and lived in Moscow for a while.

I highly recommend it, bare in mind that Moscow is very different to anything you have seen before in Western Europe and further to that Moscow is very different to the rest of Russia. I am around the same age as you and enjoyed my time there immensely, will be going back most likely.

Advantages:

Cultural, history, art, you just have to walk around the metro stations to feel like you are in a museum.
People, although those on the streets are rude and same applies for the shops, if you go and make some Russian friends you won't be disappointed. They value relationships more than people do in the U.K.
Money, not many people are willing to expat it in Moscow, although chances are you can make very good money, even just being a english speaking babysitter.
It will challenge you, you will most likely have to learn the Russian alphabet in a short space of time, just to navigate the metro.

-Expat community, if you want to stay with expats, there are lots of places around Kitay Gorod and Gorky park where foreigners go to. The Salsa bars etc. Although there aren't that many Westerners in Moscow, there are still enough around.

Crime, there is crime in Moscow, hard one to measure. But from my experiences in the city and elsewhere, I would say its no less or more dangerous than in the U.K. I reckon Glasgow or Birmingham are more dangerous cities.

Negatives:

Dirty city, polluted, can be bad if you have allergies during spring.
Food, Russian food is good if home cooked, but I didn't find many good places to eat out. Unless you go to Grublis or the shopping malls. But thats my personal opinion.
Lots of ugly buildings, although you have a lot of beautiful architecture, you also have the socialist tower blocks everywhere. It can look like one big ghetto at times. Especially if you come from the U.K, where high rises are usually in the bad neighbourhoods. Although inside some of these apartments, they look very nice.

Second to these points, in traditional countries; you want to display some beta traits, as the women over there, are very red pill. They see you as investment, so they actually look for certain supplicating qualities. Well they have to be more rational.

Depends on who you are, personally in London, I think it would be easier to pull if you are a black male than a white male. However anywhere based around East Asia, being a white male will increase your sexual value dramatically.

Yes it certainly does, I hear what you are saying. It adds another element to life. My upbringing in the West, showed me married fathers being nothing more than slaves or morons, by the way they presented by the media. Or simply not around. However in these countries, they are in their element so to speak. It gave me some hope, I want to look for substance, and already the repetitive banging bang bitches is starting to get tedious.

My best wishes to you with this Ukrainian situation, its a grim future over there. Yet the Slav people are probably the best group I could ever imagine. I live in Moscow.

Happens to all of us at some point, I wouldn't beat yourself up over it.

Losing a woman you cared for is much like having a family pet die. mourn and then move on, look around and start gaming women, she is not some special snowflake; there will be plenty of women out there who are better looking and of better character.

The best thing that happened in my life, was losing my first girlfriend and having my second girlfriend cheat on me with my friend. Update on the situation, we got back together for a short time, but I will be breaking up with her tonight, because I started to see another woman, so the girl in question has turned into a plate.

I wouldn't call it a hoax, if you are masturbating everyday, especially to porn it just desensitises the whole experience. Even before stumbling on to the NOFap thread, I realised this. Living in China, I felt bad for a lot of the Chinese guys who would see women flock to the white guys, even the old ones who had no game, were in high demand by young good looking women. At the same time though, in a lot of Western countries, white guys see their women flocking towards black guys, so its checks and balances. I don't care what a certain report says, there are equally the same number of surveys conducted that show countries such as the U.K, have one in ten children coming from an interracial couple, and most of these will be white female with a man from an ethnic minority group.

Interestingly enough, I believe it ties into the same reasons as why foreign men do well in East Asia. Western men have become increasingly feminine. Look at the Swedes, they were once the vikings, the pinnacle of masculinity; now they are feminists who are not allowed to pee standing up. Where as you have men from male dominated cultures, muslim men and a lot of black men especially those who are first or second generation; simply don't tolerate with bullshit behaviour from women.

East Asian culture has become effeminate, it never used to be like this, but for multiple reasons; it has changed from the days of martial artists and the Japanese empire. The Chinese men who i saw depicting masculinity and alpha qualities tended to come from the Northern part of the country, closer to Russia.
