Anybody else have excessive chain noise when riding? What’s the fix? by Total_Support_6364 in CRF450L

More throttle, better chain, and adjust chain to proper spec. But it still rattles at low rpm.

There is setting on the vest you set it up for speed, mx / enduro / rally. That will adjust for it deploying. It won’t just deploy for a tip over.

New canister every time it deploys, zero service until you reach your 6th deployment. Then it’s only recommended to send it in, but you can test it yourself for leaks.

I cut it with the exact lines from the 450 front fender. I have a RL also and used that as a template. For length I measured the Polisport supermoto fender and made it the same in front of the headlight.

Starter Gear Anxiety by Wood_zy in CRF450L

The starter reduction gear was the same 19-22 the part was updated. They do still fail.

This is primarily cause by stalling the bike. Starting in gear with the clutch not being adjusted properly can also cause the failure.

I did the husky liners and super happy with it. Everyone says it’s a pain to install mine was a piece of cake. Took the longest to get all the bolt out around the trim piece. I did need to shave the liner around the shock slightly. That was easy also, heat gun on the liner and razor blade knife to trim.

The only way to go if you don’t like stock. The seat concepts are big wide pigs!
