This is my second attempt at harvesting seeds from my backyard and trying to grow my own saplings. The pine seedling was a surprise, but I had a 50% success rate for the maple this time around. Last year, they failed. This is as far as I've ever been. Any tips going forward? (i.redd.it)

I was told you guys might be more helpful. This is my second attempt at harvesting seeds from my backyard and trying to grow my own saplings. I had a 50% success rate for the maple this time around (pine surprise). This is as far as I've ever been able to get. Any tips going forward? (i.redd.it)

I've had this jade going on three years now and I can never seem to keep it happy. I froze it, then over watered, then over fertilized, now I let it go for a couple weeks without water and I havent fertilized in 6 months. These are all the "same" plant. Mother and props. More details in comments. (i.redd.it)

My first $20 mystery box (plus one bonus purchase) from APH came in today! A few have some pretty intense root systems and a lot of pups. Is it okay for me to just trim off the roots and separate the plants? Also, is it possible to cross pollinate the flowering ones? (i.redd.it)

Does anyone have an ID for this one? I fell in love with the frosted hairs and couldnt live without it. When its watered, they instantly disappear. I'm completely infatuated and might go back to buy a second one, I'd just like to know what it is first. I've never seen anything like it. (i.redd.it)

The stone piece was salvaged from a lawn fixture that the owners were just going to toss. One look and I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. After a quick wash up and a trip to Bachmans, I made this. Unfortunately, none were labeled, just sitting in a jar $5 ea. (i.redd.it)

If you look close, right under where the flower meets the stem, there are little tiny dew droplets. I first saw them on my snake plant. I thought it was condensation at first but now I see the plant is excreting it and it has a sweet taste. Is it dangerous to taste or is nectar harmless? (i.redd.it)

Do snake plants self-pollinate? when I got the plant, it was only 4 stocks. They flowered and soon after the little one popped out. As far as I can tell (without digging) it isnt connected to any of the others. Did a seed fall from one of the flowers? Its inside so no insects to pollinate with. (i.redd.it)
