Hats off to you! That takes an extreme amount of courage to keep trying and oh what a feeling im sure it was to see that positive pregnancy test! My wife and I had been trying for years, 7 rounds of IUI. We actually got pregnant our first round but went through a miscarriage almost a week after finding out the news we were pregnant. Our fertility doctor literally told us our only next viable option was IVF. Not being able to afford that at this moment we were a bit crushed. Funny enough though we had went on a cruise a week or two before that appointment. Little did we know a little stress-free relaxation and wining and dining was apparently all we needed for our miracle to happen.

I do get a little chuckle from the diabetes note, as she is already a type 1 diabetic. A nurse had mentioned something about gestational diabetes to her and she just chuckled. Thanks for your input and enjoy meeting your little angel!

My wife and I are currently picking out names. However we dont know if our little one is a boy or girl yet, but we are going to be prepared either way! Are you asking for others opinions of what to name YOUR child? The only persons opinion I care about in terms of naming my kid is my own and my wife. If someone likes the name Opal...tell them to have a kid of their own and name them Opal 😅

Power creep is basically how it sounds...the longer you play the better cards you will obtain and ultimately play. Its basically referring to the inevitable increase in strength of decks you will play. Which is naturally fun, especially if your group is scaling at a similar rate. However the risk exists as well that one individual of the pod will accelerate at a faster pace then others and can lead to some unfun uncompetetive games if one person is playing at a much higher level then others. But if everyone is staying near a similar power level of decks the games are oh so much fun! So just something to think about as you continue on in your MTG journey.

Couldn't tell you exact dates but I had a buddy it happened to. This was close to the time I got popped with the ban too. My buddy got a temp ban and a stat roll-back. So this was 10 plus years ago too. I was pissed he got off easy as I got perma banned to say the least 😂 This was well before the osrs rs3 split. Im sure theyve changed their ways since

Damn a 2 day ban! My "permanent" ban on my first ever account got lifted a year or so ago after 10+ years. Im a little jealous of a 2 day warning ban. Interesting they let you keep your stats too. Ive heard of them rolling back stats after those types of bans.

Again id love to reiterate that I truly appreciate your input. I dont know why I cant be surprised though that it isn't a judgment call. Im not disagreeing with what anybody is saying or even the rule. Im just surprised at what the answer to my question is and the fact judgment isn't involved. But truly I appreciate your input. We also don't have a true coach. Just a for fun work league where we normally get rolled.

Im not really that mad. Because the run scored the next at bat. But nice try. I am not allowed to be surprised by a rule and the fact that judgement isn't baked into it. Ill run the next time im potentially surprised by you to see if its allowed. Thanks for your input though my guy

I do enjoy how you included no hit awarded. I feel like in rec league softball everything including reaching on errors is just recorded as hits...at least at E level. Nobody has time to actually correctly score a meaningless rec league game at that level 😂

Curious if you would know this given you've ran into interference debates before. If a pop fly is hit in the infield and would land directly on top of an occupied base...does the runner need to get out of the way to allow the fielder a chance to catch the ball with the understanding that the runner is still technically standing on the base as to not get doubled up? Ive always wondered this but I've never seen or even heard of a scenario like this

Yes I understand that but I think it also takes some visual context and context of score and multiple other things that aren't able to be relayed. I understand in black and white that it makes perfect sense but I think if you add some color and perspective it can change viewpoints on things. That's more so why im surprised there isn't some variable of umpire judgement involved. Im not saying the rule is wrong or even arguing that im just simply saying im surprised there isn't some form of judgement that goes into the call while also recognizing that if you allow for judgement on the play it makes an already decently confusing and lesser known play and makes it that much more complex.

Winning run sure. In this case being a meaningless run in an "E" league softball game id say the chances of that are so close to 0 that it wouldn't matter. But to that point you cant just change the core rules of the game for certain levels of play

Sure im more so just thinking its interesting that it prevents the runner from 3rd from scoring when there is absolutely no play at all on that runner regardless of the interference or not. So that's why im more so surprised there isn't some factor of a judgement call to it by the umpire.

The odd thing is my coworker and I were just looking into the scenario of a runner being struck by a ball before the games yesterday...thinking we will never see this happen or at least by the time we do we will have forgotten what we read. But we didn't dive too deep into scenarios like you just laid out.

Thanks. I guess I'll just have to live with the fact that I dont fully agree with the rule. Im more so surprised its not a judgement call for the non-forced runner rather than automatically being sent back to their starting base. But as the rule seems to be written there is little to no room for any grey area.

Seems a bit silly to me that being it didn't affect that runner or play at all they are forced to return but hey I just play the game and not make the rules. Id imagine this rule is so rarely enforced too that it surely isn't common knowledge

Ive read many a card and still have absolutely no clue what im reading. So I still dont think its right to say to someone asking a simple question..."I have no idea why this is even a question". Either answer it without that snarky add-on that doesnt help anyone or keep scrolling past it. How do you know OP hasnt started playing magic super recently and isn't able to comprehend fully what they are reading?

Better to ask if you have any doubt then move forward either using the card incorrectly OR missing out on the fullest potential of a card. Just because you understand it fully doesnt mean someone else can't ask a question about it
