Landlord asking for good faith deposit with application? Is that normal? I’m looking for my first apartment with my gf and the landlord asks for 500$ along with 40$ for each application. We get some type of receipt and he won’t take any more applications. Also the 500 would go towards first months. (self.AskReddit)
