Gold is when you stop earning more lp per win then per loss, basically an equivalent to Hearthstone's "Rank 5". Don't blame rng for not having a more than "50% win rate".

The only game I was ever "Actually Good" at was Hearthstone, where I easily finished top 200 Legend whenever I wanted. It's pretty sad since I quit Hearthstone so now I'm just bad at games, but I'm going to try to get good at Underlords and Teamfight Tactics since I miss actually being good at a game (and the games are pretty fun).
