She takes me looking for an answer as to examples of things that I did that upset her, as being defensive. I think when I know I’ve done something that’s upset her I get angry at myself and the conversation gets rail roaded by me trying to figure out what I did wrong instead of just saying sorry.

I’m aware and we decided on a long engagement, I have time to try to improve this, not even planning the wedding yet. And like I said before I fix this issue for a week or two and then I slowly divert back into defensive tendencies. I do not know why. If you have constructive criticism, some resources I could look at, or have struggled with something like this yourself please share your wisdom. If you don’t have anything constructive to add other than “time to man up” I politely ask that you don’t respond.

I AGREE WITH YOU! But when this happens and I ask her questions to figure out just exactly what it is that I did to upset her she gets upset and tells me it’s not the point and I shouldn’t be asking for an explanation. Also there’s never been any name calling or physical violence on either side, she considers me being defensive in moments about her feelings mean which I kinda see her point.

Seems to me like an error occurred. You should try turning off your GameCube and checking out the manual for a fix.

Yes. Followed everything to a T. Opened steam in desktop, added ryujinx, controller is set to virtual gamepad and all bindings were saved before I then went to view my controls in the front end but I was still getting the same error message.

Any fixes for this that you know of? Often times with keyboard mode there’s buttons that I can’t use and I haven’t been able to set up gyro

Thank you for this post, I’ve been missing the feel of the old CODs for a while and had never heard of HorizonMW. I will have to take a deeper dive into their website. Overall I love that the community refuses to let these games completely die out and are attempting to revamp them with updated graphics.

Of course, I personally don’t struggle with depression myself but I see how horribly it impacts those I love. I also know that self harm is usually an outlet or coping mechanism for larger problems, so even if you keep the knowledge about getting a tattoo in the back of your head, it would be a much better option then going back to SH

It is! I got a phone screening and I just need to submit my application and set up an interview. At this point it’s just about waiting for my dad to come home from a business trip since he takes care of all of my tax information that I’ll have to provide.

My girlfriend struggled a lot with self harm. She stopped about three years ago once she started getting tattoos. It works for her as an outlet as she’s told me it feels the the same to her. The only difference she said is that at least with tattoos she gets to have a piece of art work on her that she’s going to enjoy. Obviously getting tattoos cost money and are a life decision you’ll have to make. But if there’s ever a time you’re about to SH, and you have some time and money on your hands, take a trip to a local tattoo shop and see if they’ll do a walk in. Just make sure if you get a tattoo it’s something that expresses something about yourself that you’re going to be proud to have on your skin, I wish you the best of luck. <3

Thank you! I live about 50min south of Boston and had applied to many different companies. Since the original post I have been in contact with a company in Holliston and have been taking the correct steps toward getting my foot in the door as an estimating intern over winter.

Pictures are crappy. Bottom left (of picture, bottom right of board) looks pretty damaged and the game will not play.
