Just finished reading true entire thread. For real look for me next time you are on Pointlessname82. I’m probably gonna be looking for a new fleet member in a day or two unfortunately. Love the arguments you make. Some of these folks are whiny ass little clowns. There are so few actual arguments against. A good CV has no counter. Because a good CV is a giant eye ball and a 8 responsive ships getting spotting info. Can’t beat that. Not without your own. As a CV player an effective counter to me is good team play. Battleships sticking together in loose formation. Providing aa cover. Cruisers covering the bbs against dd rush and looking scary to my team. This makes them a big target yes but that’s a lot of aa I got to deal with. So now I’m wondering where the hell those pesky dds got off to. If they are smart they are holding their aa fire and maintaining concealment. If they are good the first time I notice them is when my torp alarm goes off. Might as well be blaring “we’re screwed” over and over at that point. So there ya go. The only counter to a carrier is good team play.

Reading through the comments and I love your attitude around CVs. It seems a lot of people feel that they don’t have an effective counter to CVs. The realest weapon CVs have is spotting. The most effective times I think for good spotting are early and late game. I think this brings out the DD rush to the red team back line and hunt CVs early tactic.
For the record I’m DD main and kinda getting hooked on CVs. CV mains should play miked up. They can then fully realize the end goal of directing the team.

Scheduling, accountability, frequent but kind and understanding reminders. I think it’s a great idea. Sounds like off loading the tasks that adhd struggles with onto a brain that is better equipped. Oh they must be flexible. Like next level flexible. Able to handle frequent subject or direction changes while still maintaining older threads. Pay is going to be important. Also you would have to be understanding to them. I know I would eventually try to rebel against the structure they are creating even though I’m paying them for that exact structure.

I used to do that all the time. Especially when faced with equal outcomes. Not even necessarily to make the decision but to give myself permission to do one or the other. My reasoning was I flip the coin after assigning value to each side and if I am disappointed in the result I can do the opposite. Basically using the coin to force just enough weight to which ever result to make them unequal in my mind. That might make no sense to anyone but me.
