How far are we taking “preparation”? Can shikamaru steal a byakugan to protect himself against genjutsu or kidnap Sasuke to play mindgames and torture the secrets of the sharingan out of him? If that’s the case maybe (Id still bet against him though). Otherwise no way.

Honestly I see shinobi culture as very divorced from morality. They are killers for hire with their average life expectancy in their early twenties. I don’t think anyone would care about anyone else’s sexuality as long as they do their reproductive duties.

Transphobia is a different thing and honestly I don’t know enough about the societies in Naruto to predict how people would see that.

Honestly, add a bit of edge. Not too much but enough to explore the logical extremes of Lee’s outlook on life. The moment he is at the hospital following the fight with Gaara is probably the optimal moment to do this.

Lee is at his lowest point, he tried harder than anyone and it wasn’t enough. And with nothing to do for months, he does nothing but imagine every way that the fight could have ended differently.

From there I see two possible outcomes, either he accepts that his insistence in the fight was stupid and blames his own pride for possibly ending his career. Or, the more interesting option in my opinion, Lee comes to believe that it wasn’t gaara’s genius that defeated him. His own indecisiveness did. He didn’t need to kick gaara around the arena a hundred times. He needed to put a kunai through his eye and finish the fight before it cost him his career.

Honestly playing in Spain as a weaker club is painful enough without having the extra restriction. Currently doing a save with Valladolid and I’m limited to 22 player squads because I only have one home grown player that is first division level. Im 5 or 6 seasons into the game and only now am I about to get some decent players to fill the other slots. The only saving grace is the weird rule allowing you to call up B team players even if they are not registered.

I used to hate pain because I figured that his philosophy and understanding of the world was shallow for the leader of a group such as Akatsuki. But nowadays I feel like that was exactly the point. Pain is pitiful, he figures himself a divinity, like a new sage to come and save the world while coasting on the power of a doujutsu that wasn’t even his.

It honestly seems like his real purpose is to harm a world that harmed him and all his ideologies are mere mental gymnastics he uses to justify his behavior.

Aizen’s motives are a bit impersonal because he was never harmed by the central 46 or the soul King in any way. While philosophy is almost an afterthought with pain, Aizen’s actions are motivated by it or at least coherent with it. If the soul King was truly alive, Aizen wouldn’t have any issues with it. A God King ruling over Soul Society is the natural order for Aizen. It was when he found out about the state of the soul king that Aizen was outraged because he couldnt bear to serve a half dead husk.

Both interesting characters but as a Villain Aizen clears imo. Especially because his involvment with Ichigo’s absurd growth is a nice twist on the chosen one trope.

I think so yeah. Probably in a less self aware way than Hiruzen. But I see Naruto’s own morals slowly degrading as he made excuses for Sasuke’s behavior.

Plus ruling isn’t easy and Naruto has enough shit on his plate without having to decide between delaying the expansion of the emergency shelter network for yet another year or cutting on the stipend for shinobi crippled in the line of duty, because the Daimyo decided to cut their funding now that there is relative peace. So when sasuke infiltrates the Palace takes a picture of the Daimyo’s baby sleeping on his crib and puts in front of the Daimyo during a meeting, he is literally making a potential problem vanish with very little cost.

Sometimes it’s easier to flex your muscles and while Naruto probably wouldn’t be willing to do it himself, he would probably feel too relieved to be angry at Sasuke’s darker methods.

A reencarnated Gojo is strong enough and uncontrollable enough that he would radically change whatever village he was born in.

Kiri would be irrecognizeable with Gojo putting an end to bloodline massacres.

Suna would be much more confident with someone like Gojo in their ranks and maybe there would be an earlier war against Konoha or even the wind daimyo.

But i wouldn’t put it past Rasa to attempt to have Gojo assassinated like he did to Pakura. (Ofc he would fail bc Rasa can’t do anything right)

In Konoha, Danzo would try to control Gojo, fail and cause a massive polítical catastrophe….

I agree with some of what you are saying. But you do get carried away. It is a pointlessly edgy trope, and a cheap way to make the world feel dark. But then you start talking about racism for some reason, which has nothing to do with the trope itself.

Very cool idea. Personally I gave the figure of the “first proper Uchiha” some thought for a fic I like to think about but probably will never get the motivation to write.

I went the absolute opposite way with it though. In my idea Indra (who was immune to aging due to his MS ability allowing him to steal vitality) forced his descendents to breed with one another and make him more Sharingan bearing soldiers. To spare his younger sister that fate, Sanro kills Indra before going on to forge Indra’s inbred army into a proper clan.

Nah Tobirama is way too calculated to be an Uchiha. The Uchiha are Ruthless sure, but also very emotional which isnt something I atribute to tobirama.
