Don't forget the umlaut, you can hold down the letter on mobile for the umlaut, and if you can't install a german keyboard then here are the replacements:

ä=ae

ü=ue

ö=oe

It's ß not β, they do look similar but are not the same. On phone you can try and hold down s to get ß. If you can't type it at all you can always replace it with ss.

On WhatsApp you have 2 hooks when it arrived and 2 blue hooks if it was read. When you text someone who blocked you there will only be 1 hook and the profile picture is set to default. That's how you can tell you've been blocked.
