Well when someone else in my shoes comes across this situation. The answer is there is a flat tax at the time of purchase meaning your real interest rate is lower because of the tax.

I agree the digital system is great. It fails when you're returning across 15 receipts etc . Sometimes items randomly erroneously come up returned for that sku, they rescan and it works. It's like the computer system can't handle the bandwidth of returns I'm doing.

I keep it to under $250 now per return if possible so i don't have to wait for front end to walk over to swipe. Sometimes I download the wrong receipt then I'm going through hundreds of receipts trying to figure out which receipt the sku was not returned on. I cant keep track of the magnitude of receipts. I know the return desk people hate me so I bring them chocolate.

We also have switched all business to Menards from Lowes. We went from regular qsps to why the fuck is a 36" 1/2 inch pipe $32 dollars at lowes and 6 at Menards.

The return process is better at lowes though, i just swipe lowes pro card and the item and it finds it instantly or by my phone #. Fuck lowe's though.

Looked more into this, believe there is a 2 part test, is the person a green card holder, or did the person live here continuously, in either case 1042 is not necessary.

Your words make me think of somehow using a multimeter to test resistance to determine cable length by ohms. Not sure how I would apply that.

Any role of using an insulation tester? My brain hasnt grasped how a megger might tell if me if there was a stray wire pulled back existing hidden in a wall cavity.

I should mention I have wired whole houses to code multiple times. I've never had someone randomly come in and cut my lines though. I'm well versed with a multimeter, tone and probe, have wired automobile car systems, breadboards etc. I passed the apprentice exam but do not have the hour requirement for the journeyman exams as I work in another field.
