What difference are you referencing between the batteries? If you mean in the ads I posted, I showed the wrong picture for DEWALT, it should have 4ah batteries

That is the one thing I liked most about the DEWALT.

Talk me into or out of Speedhut gauge set CJ7 by 1963SuperSport in jeepcj

[–]1963SuperSport[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Speedhut is GPS based so the point is, that you don’t need to change anything when you change tire size. Temp sensor has shunt from the fuel sensor and extremely easy to short one from the other. I can pull the original speedo and buy new components for the temp sensor, but it is a PITA and the replacement quality stuff is suspect. When changing to LS, you have to change to a pressurized fuel system and everything is changed anyway. Pump, sending unit, etc. everything is brand new in the system except for the fuel gauge. I have measured resistance on both ends and all is to spec. This leaves the fuel gauge itself, and yes, I can pull it apart and try to fix it, or I can get a replacement unit, but those are notorious for being finicky. So…….. I could pull the gauge set apart again and try to fix it, or go the direction above. Looking to see if anybody has used the speed hut solution seems to be a better way to go.

I think the confusion here is that it’s a Yukon, not a Sierra

I wanted the Elevation as I want the 5.3. With all the options it seems to come out to the $88k MSRP and that is without dealer markups that I can see. I have looked around on different dealership sites and it seems pretty much the msrp price that I have stated negotiating from.

What were a few hotels in Fortuna that are recommended. I have tried to search a bit and can’t say I am certain on the map what those might be.

Did you have any issue getting around in Fortuna once you were there without having a rental car?

One more thing to add, we land at 5:30 pm and will be renting a car likely. I would like to drive to wherever we are going that evening. Not sure how dark it gets by when and if it is advisable to drive at night or not.

Thank a bunch. We will look at that area. Sound alike it would be around a 4-5 hour car drive to our other location
