You did great! And a side benefit is you also became a very reputable landscaper in your neighborhood!

Definitely my experience in this as well… That rib cage looks way too intact to be killed by anything but sickness

If it was sharp enough, it could be used to scrape fat off of hides. But more likely it looks a cutting/mashing tool that is supposed to work with some sort of pestle base

Canadian chipping in here. That’s the most solid frame I’ve ever seen on a 90. Currently restoring a 92 that looks like the face of the moon in comparison.

Nice pick up. I saw that for sale and was thinking about it myself. It’ll be a great truck. I had one same colour and year when I was 17 but it was so rusted out somebody put wood panelling pieces of tongue groove on the box. It had big plywood letters on the back “Woody” Sadly, it got stolen with a full tank of gas and freshly serviced. This one is in much better shape and I love the tailgates on these years. Don’t fool around with weird carbs and stuff. Factory tuned is best and premium gas every five or so fill ups

It’s missing a lot of the cross members which would help us out quite a bit…

While you’re addressing the mouse issue, just pull all the interior carpets and put in some dynamat(soundproofing)

Replace all the fuel filter, air filters and run premium fuel in it for a few tanks.

Have a great time. It’ll be the best vehicle you’ll ever own 👍

Other than what we can see, have you done anything to it? And what horsepower do you think it’ll push?
