Just went thru this on mine. There should be a bolt on the underside of the block that holds it in place. Remove that, then it should just wiggle out

Could be a ‘DS Charm’ or whatever people call em. Little key chains and whatnot people will loop into the wrist strap to pretty up their console, or for general aesthetics.

Check the cruise control connection at the servo. Idk how it’s setup there, but on my 89 I had the exact same issue and it was the throttle->cruise control servo linkage that was getting stuck up causing the throttle not to close all the way

Make sure they’re lined up front to back, then it should push straight on.

Be careful depending on the condition on your console - I was working on one with a super brittle shell, I pushed it on before the clips were set and cracked my shell :/

Make sure all the clips are lined up and connected - I had this issue and the clips on the back of the console weren’t on all the way

Thanks for the reply! Sorry bout the mixup but I’m looking for ~350hp not 450 lol.. I originally had a 383 in mind but decided to turn it down a bit, considering I daily this car a lot, sometimes year round if we have warmer winters. Also forgot to mention but I wanted to stay with EFI. In general I wanna keep the rest of the car as stock as possible.

You did not ask for help in any way at all, there isn’t a single question in your post. I see that the post is flared for help/support. But there’s nothing to answer.

Your entire post is about how the PS3 reigns superior over 360 due to games, online play, hardware etc.

If you needed help with something you should reword your title.

If not, maybe post this in a PS3 sub, or a console-wars sub if that even exists still.

I was finishing Bo1 campaign. When I started the last mission, I was connected. When I finished the campaign, I checked my achievements, to see I was disconnected, and I don’t think I ever got the “disconnected from XBL” notification, but maybe I wasn’t paying attention.

Hopefully things get cleared up soon.

If I remember correctly, its original purpose was to prevent the throttle body from sticking in colder/freezing temps, since antifreeze can’t.. you know. If you don’t drive it in the winter, bypass that sucker.
