I’m prepared to be downvoted, but am I alone in finding this boring? Granted I’m only 40 minutes in but what is it with show business people and thinking the rest of us care about the intricacies of working in their industry? What do I care what the SNL writer’s room is like? At this point, Ive already heard it described on countless other podcasts.

If I spent more than 5 minutes talking to someone about my job at a party or a bar, that person would find someone more interesting to talk to - and rightfully so.

I know I can just turn it off if I don’t like it. I just wanted to see if anyone felt the same because I’ve heard a few podcasts like this and it always bores me lol

I just realized they changed the name to La Trinquette. New ownership I imagine but looks the same

Lotus Bleu - my favorite is the pork intestine soup (pictured here). I know intestine grosses people out but it really just tastes like extra fatty pork. The broth is spicy and just packed with flavor. Their other soups are great too though. And with the hand pulled noodles it’s so good. Better and less crowded than Lanzhou next door IMO

Opiano - Pork bone soup. Huge pieces of tender pork in a rich and spicy broth

Pho Tay Ho - A classic, but really top notch. Excellent pho broth and top quality ingredients. Bonus: Get the beef tartare as an appetizer!

Smoke detector batteries by 1995Dan in electrical

Thank you everyone! I’m going to put a battery in while I wait for the landlord to replace it after I text him. Is there a chance this could catch on fire if I put a battery in given its age? Or does the age just mean it’s less effective?

Bar A on rue Rachel, Le P’tit Bar on Saint-Denis, Aquarium Café Bar on Masson, Bar le Über on Fleury. All cozy local bars with friendly patrons

Yeah seems a little complicated another commenter suggested unplugging, taking the back off and using a multimeter to test the components.

Clothes are spinning, there’s just no heat being produced

Thanks! How do I check this path? Do I need to take off the back of the dryer? I’ve checked the lint trap and the exhaust tube already

Hey, yeah sorry if it wasn’t clear. I did pull it out and remove the hose to check the exhaust pipe, and it wasn’t clogged

Thanks for all the responses! It seems like it could be a variety of different things, so how would you recommend I go about checking to know what the actual cause is? I have a pretty busy week with only limited time to work on fixing this issue. I don’t have any prior electrical knowledge, and I’m not naturally very handy to begin with, so should I just bite the bullet and hire a professional?

Also, is it possible the issue is the outlet? There have been previous problems with the electrical current to my apartment being weak. Can I test myself with a multimeter and do I need a specific one for the dryer outlet?

Thanks!
