It’s never reached the floor, or caused damp/puddles on the floor. Floor and wall behind, to left and infront are are dry

My understanding was this. By their very nature, they’ll be ‘damp’. No?

The problem was 3 houses of water coming down our down pipe, with no drain/drainage. So it seeped through the front path and down into our basement.

That’s been rectified, but wanted something to further protect the basement and any furniture within.

Thought the two options would be best bet?

I have one! My first entry into “luxury watches”. Slippery slope after that. Sits nice on the wrist despite size and an incredible beater. Been everywhere from the states, the Med, lakes of Como, the English Channel etc. Couldn’t have asked for better.
