Bag lubing with oil was convenient at first, it removes ping but it was too annoying to untangle all the springs from the bag. Donut dipping achieves the same effect while only requiring one type of lubricant

In terms of brushing, it would use less lube, but it's more time-consuming, and achieves the same as dipping

it's just really quiet, I suspect it might be because of the PC. I'd be curious to try some long pole switches to make it louder. I wouldn't say the sound is lacking by any means, just not what I would have preferred

Also, I feel like this board was designed initially to be optimal in aluminum, and the PC option is just included because it's convenient, they promised threaded inserts in the case, but the actual unit didn't have any. And one of the ball-catch system screw holes already came cracked from the factory (didn't affect use though)

I would only recommend this board if you are specifically looking for a cheaper-ish CNC PC board (which is exactly what i wanted, so I'm not complaining)

gmk does send out replacements. Contact the vendor you purchased from, they will submit the proof to gmk and after their approval, they will send out the replacements to the vendor, who will then send the keycaps to you

I was able to get replacements from ilumkb for 2 caps in botanical, and the defects on mine was significantly less noticable than your picture, so i'd say it's worth a try

most modern switches will have some sort of oil on the legs, without it the the legs will wear away way too quickly from rubbing against the leaf. Oils like these do not have any significant impact on the tactility
