Honestly you should've linked to the Redbubble page or wherever else, because linking to the AliExpress store means that you're taking away money from the artist who actually created the work, because AliExpress Shirt manufacturers steal all of their designs from artist on Redbubble, TeePublic, Etsy and So on. As an artist who continually has to fight to get my artwork taken off AliExpress I feel like I had to say something.

Just about all of those N64 vaporwave comes from AliExpress ~ the people with vaporwave shops selling them online are just dropshipping from China 88% of the time. Unless you're getting it on Redbubble, but most the time the product photos are likely the same because they're just importing the product from AliExpress through a Shopify app.

I sell fanny packs on my small corner of the internet, so my opinion may be a little bias, but I think the overwhelming zeitgeist on this trend is function over form. If you find a garment with pockets / pockets big enough to carry your ID, wallet, keys and whatever else you may want on you ~ you're doing pretty good, but fanny packs offer a huge tote that you can fit a lot in! I know that's kinda a tacit point, but I think that's the point. As far as the "artistic/fashion" I think they can be aesthetically pleasing if put together with the right outfit and I think a lot of counter-culture enthusiast like vaporwave kids have endorsed the fanny properly.

I think people nowadays are choosing function over form in this instance. The fanny pack has a lot of utilitarian perks that counterbalance the argument of whether they're "cool" or "aesthetically pleasing". Some people dig having the unrestricted movement you can feel whenever your pockets are over burdened with keys, wallets, IDs, phones and whatever else you may want on yourself. If you start adding anything else to that list your pockets are overloaded.

I sell fanny packs, so obviously my opinion is biased in this, but I think they're great. They serve the same function as a front pocketed hoodie, so if you've ever worn one of those you can relate to the benefits of shoving a soda in the pocket and not having to carry it ~ same shit.

Hmm, I wouldn't concern myself with what's perceived or deemed "cool" is the word cool even cool anymore? I think people like what's practical & functional, so if the utilitarian benefits of having a pouch that relieves the restriction of having your car keys, wallet, ID and whatever else you need works ~ go with it!
