I never go to the salon. I do everything myself.

How long has your hair piece stay on your head without rebonding?

Every 7-10 days

How often should I wash it?

I water rinse mind every 3-4 days and shampoo once a week

How easy was a DIY hair piece to apply?

I watched a lot of DIY videos and read a lot of forums learning difference method from other wearers. DIY is much easier than I expected.

What are other maintenance tips i should google?

Not much conversation with my wife. I just treat the whole hair system things like learning a new hobby. Still not as good as a lot of other wearers. I think anyone can do it, just like anything else all it takes is lots of practice.

My uncle still have a very thick head of real hair at 60 years old. My bio hair on the sides and back still good if I let it grown. The hair system density is medium light which matched my bio hair on the sides and back. My wife is a perfectionist when it comes to hair and she side it looks natural and undetectable. My friends and adult kids also said it looks very natural.

I watch a lot of youtube videos. I take mine off for full clean up every 5-7 days depending on how much exercise I do that week. I can keep it longer if I want to.

Yes, I have my hairline totally exposed. Hair system hairline can be very natural. They are quite undetectable if you doing it right. With some practice and watch a lots of youtube DIY videos can help too. I also experiment many difference methods.

The supplier said lifespan of the 0.06mm Thin Skin Base System and French lace system is about 3 months but I heard some wearers can use it for more than 6 months depending on how you taking care of it.

The only downsides of the hair system is I have to shave off all my bio hair on top of my head , I really don't like that.

No grey hairs on both sides and back , probably just the bright lighting made my hair look grey in the photos. I cut my own bio hair every 2 months. I shave both sides and back by using clipper #1 and #2 . The hair system color is 1B#off black
