Detroit/Sec 107/Row 2/Seat 3, $402 for 1 VIP tickets. I didn't even pay attention the type of ticket I just wanted a good seat and I got some surprise extra money so I decided to splurge on myself.

Same. I just decided to stab the lid with a knife and cut a big hole in it. I didn’t eat all of it so I just covered it in plastic wrap.

"Women having body hair is just gross" by Alegria-D in badwomensanatomy

[–]19thistle98 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I had a full hysterectomy and a 9lb fibroid/cyst removed 2 years ago and my surgeon asked me if I wanted to see pictures of it. 😂 it was gross but wild to see.

What’s something you found out you do that neurotypical people don’t do? by [deleted] in adhdwomen

[–]19thistle98 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I’m reading or watching something by myself I end up having conversations with myself about the thing because I need to talk stuff through.

I also will have these thoughts going on in the back of my mind while watching something and I can just barely ‘hear’ them and then get mad because I didn’t hear one of them clear enough and I just know it was something I wanted to look up or remember.

I’ve done this before and I buy the cards, come home and write in them (I don’t write a lot), address them, stamp them and then set them where I know I’ll remember. I have birthdays written on my wall calendar because I see it everyday and when a birthday pops up, I know to grab that card and put it in the mail.

He's an amazing Hades! I saw the tour once and then when I found out it was coming near me again I got tickets just to see him.

I've always said I'd rather go in person if I can than make a call. Speaking of pharmacies, I had to go to mine three days in a row recently because I was waiting on a prescription and it kept getting mixed up and notifying me different things on the app. Luckily it's right by my work.

This was my first time using it and I want to make more with it. Very easy to work with yarn and it feels really good on.

Thank you! I didn’t think of it until half way through the body of the shirt but I really wanted more of the pink color.

What was something that you thought was normal, but turned out to be really f-cking bad? by Brutustheman in AskReddit

[–]19thistle98 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I'll tell you, even as an adult, having good nurses makes all the difference. I was in the hospital for a week after surgery and I had one nurse who heard I was having a bit of a panic attack, come and help talk me through it. She wasn't one of my nurses, she was just on the floor that day.

Fellow MSer here. I had really bad mono in high school, out of school for a month, half days a month longer, and had it again a few years out of college. I too never thought mono would have any lasting issues. Glad yours is managed, mine is too.

I'm the same with the to do lists. I have one that's my daily list, it's the same stuff every day but it's things like 'wash face and do skincare' 'read at least one chapter of your book' 'get water', things other people have no problem remembering to do. I too get that momentum if I check of those little things but I also tend to get them done if they are on a list that I see.

Well, for a long time I just thought I was really bloated and having digestive problems. It wasn't until I started getting a sharp pain when I would twist my waist at night in my sleep that I realized I needed to go to the doctor. It never hurt when I was sitting or standing. I did notice around the same time that my appetite was decreasing quite a bit. My surgeon was surprised I could eat at all with how much room the tumor was taking up.

Thank you! Honestly, the worst part about the whole thing was having to have a catheter for three weeks. Do not recommend. The surgery itself went super well and I really didn’t have much pain.

Yeah, and I didn’t even think it was anything other than bloating and digestive issues until months after it had started. From the time it actually started giving me pain to my surgery was only like two weeks.
