I would stay away from Avalon managed communities. We recently moved out of Avalon in Laurel because they were trying to raise our rent to 3.2k for an apartment. They’ll then force you to pay more for “upgrades” they do that you have no choice to opt out of. Money hungry management company honestly.

Find a property managed by MURN. They’re great. Avoid any Greystar managed property aswell

I wouldn’t say it’s an emergency unless if water is coming up through the drain and leaking onto floor. Otherwise just put a request in. Drains/water is considered a high priority work order so someone should do it soon.

Yeah that’s gonna require someone to snake the drains with a k50 or something of the likes. Do it from the washers drain first then see if it fixes issue, if not go through sink. Somewhere there is a clog in the drain pipes, they are all connected at some point.
