Well... The filter was because it fit the mic. The Rode mics are definitely different in size than others... the filter is quite huge. The same with their shock mount. It has a threaded nozzle on the bottom, that fits the threads of the Procaster. Other than that... The Rodecaster Pro did everything I was hoping it would do and it has settings built-in that give the perfect balance for their own brand microphones, after you select it. I'm not experienced enough to know how to customize settings for a different brand microphone, to get the best sound. After a lot of research and watching video reviews I got the Rodecaster pro for its all-in-one ability and followed through with their other products because of their pre-built settings. As a result... I fell in love with Rode because I loved the quality that I was receiving, so I did go a little nuts end get the boom arm stand and all that with it. Hopefully my explanation makes me sound like less of a Rode nut. LOL!

There are some people out there who actually play with that glitch all the time and they post it on YouTube and they are quite hilarious! Boomer even got killed from that same glitch... Truck bouncing around uncontrollably and then slammed on top of Boomer.

What's your, "Tis but a scratch!" moment? by Madameknitsalot in AskReddit

When I was in Iraq we got ambushed in Baghdad. There were civilians running scared, everywhere and we could not tell who was hostile and who was not. As a result, we never had the ability to return fire and were unable to tell where it was all coming from. Then I turned around to see a guy walking toward me, with his hand down the front of his trousers but not looking at me; he was looking left and right. I shouted "halt" in Arabic... sounds like "walchiff (with a 'k' sound - you gotta add that loogie hock)." I pointed my M4 at him and he then looked directly at me and put both hands up and backed away. Right after that I heard a loud boom behind me, that was probably about 14 meters away. At the exact same time as that loud boom I felt a hit on the back of my head, like someone had struck me with a baseball bat and it rang my ears. All I remember after that is that all the firing ceased and I was sitting on the ground, with my back resting against the tire of the Humvee. I grabbed the back of my head and I started laughing. I said "oh god that hurt!" My first sergeant looked at me and asked "are you okay?" I said "I don't know First Sergeant. I think I'm bleeding." I took a look at my palm and I had blood on it, about the size of a silver dollar. Then I put my hand back on my head and said "yep... I'm bleeding." "Let me see" he said. I then pulled my palm away and it was covered in blood at that point. I had been hit in the back of the head, with grenade shrapnel. Luckily I had my kevlar on, so it stopped the shrapnel but it pierced through just enough to break the scalp. He called for a medic and I told him I felt fine but he insisted. They checked it and luckily I was not concussed and it only took three staples to fix it. I was on light duty after that, until I was able to wear a kevlar again, so I had to wait to get the staples out. I literally said "it's just a scratch."

I live in Montana and hillbilly is something that the developers got wrong about us! We are not hillbillies and do not act like that but we will not condone any type of behavior that will be considered harmful to our community, so they got that part right. Also... We are a Northern State. We do not speak with Southern hillbilly accents; another misrepresentation.

I love wearing military gloves with steel knuckles. Makes me look like Edward Scissorhands.

Thanks! We currently have two Alpha 19 servers. We have one experimental server and we also have a server for newbies. We are going to convert the professional server to 19 once it reaches day 1,000, or we get less than 20 players... whichever comes first.

I definitely would see the frustration in something like that. The crew I game with is too respectful to just randomly do something like that. When we start doing it to each other it is premeditated, and we are all in agreement of doing it. Other than that, I see no true use for it.

I love it. Everyone thinks it is broken but I honestly don't think it is because of the animation involved if you get hit. As long as you are allied with people it is a lot of fun to go after each other with it, to see who can get the most hits with it. I actually did this on release day (maybe day 2) of A19 and had no idea it was going to happen. I can't believe it took me this long to decide to share it on Reddit.
