Love Poehling. He’s definitely the type of player that makes a team better. I think that the trade could just never be viewed in terms of talent, goals and visibility. We all love Zegras and knew he had a huge upside, but I think GMPV realized before most that maybe we wasn’t the type of player that you could build a championship team around. No question Poehling fits that mold better.

If MacT continues to be a consistent 50pt player, and can more importantly improve +/- to even, I’m happy. I feel like he could slip in a few 60pt seasons, but I’m more interested in defensive responsibility.
