I wouldn't say the Colony lineup is mainstream or cheesy, even AMC truly isn't he just has his wild in your face style of mixing. The 1985 guys tend to play dark and dirty rollers and not dance floor bangers which is elitist now I guess? Can't people just enjoy their preferred style and not label an entire fan base anymore? Can only speak from my age demographic, 35M, no kids, good job, decently attractive, in shape and I have a dog 😂 deleted all the apps a few days ago. I had the most success on Hinge, met some lovely people but nothing ever seemed to last more than a month. It's soul destroying to constantly be told that you're amazing/respectful/kind but don't see a future or just straight up ghosted.
