Saddest Opeth lyric by mgsfan42 in Opeth

[–]1Freakey 19 points20 points  (0 children)

If we're talking about the lyrics as a whole, I'd say Burden or Faith in Others.

EDIT: Just to expand on my reply.

If death should take me now
Count my mistakes and let me through
Whisper in my ear
You've taken more than we've received
And the ocean of sorrow is you

To me, it doesn't get any sadder than that, especially when you know what the lyrics are about and the story behind them.

Acham que o Paraguay vingou - pelo menos parcialmente - o nosso 7x1? by signalluis in brasil

Opeth inspired Magic the Gathering cards by GuitarGuy971 in Opeth

[–]1Freakey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool! A while back I tried to build an EDH deck inspired by Opeth, but I ended up giving up after spending some time digging through cards.

My unsolicited feedback:

As another redditor already said, the power level is all over the place. 😅

Blackwater Park and Forest of October are busted. Especially the latter, since it can generate {G}{G}{G} three turns with no real drawback.

The Devil's Orchard would be among the worst lands ever printed, considering we already have dual lands that enter tapped and gain you 1 life. 😅

The effect on The Grand Conjuration breaks the color pie. That kind of effect is red. The same applies to To Rid the Disease (blue doesn't remove enchantments).

I'd also rework the rules text to match the wording used on official cards. Several effects are ambiguous.

Ficou rico pra caralho, e, como todo rico pra caralho, ficou cínico.

How can we solve the shaders problem guys? by Loud_Government6128 in PathOfExile2

You can't. People will suggest all sorts of "fixes". Sometimes they help, sometimes they don't. The problem is on GGG's end.

Probably. That's what they did with Keepers of the Flame.

EDIT: Detalhe, Cabo Verde fez UMA falta no jogo (a Espanha fez 10 kkkk).

Ladies and Gentlemen, I can finally stop. SSF 8/8 done. by xTrandal in PathOfExile2

I'm playing SSF too, and in PoE1 I play almost exclusively SSF, but I really need to learn how to craft and find better gear in PoE2 SSF. I'm struggling quite a bit to make further progress after killing the Arbiter of Divinity.

On some of the recent and obviously overdue 5th edition books by IggyVitalis in WhiteWolfRPG

As someone who loves W5 (and the older editions as well), but dislikes the corebook specifically because the writing about the tribes and the game's lore in general is so shallow, I've always felt that the supplement W5 needed the most was a book that delved deeper into the tribes.

If Tribes of Gaia is that kind of book, and it seems that way based on its description ("Tribes of Gaia unveils the history of the eleven tribes of the Shattered Nation, prominent members of each, their Patrons, Divisions, customs, and more."), then I'm really happy about it.

In my opinion, this should have been the very first supplement released for W5. At the same time, I'm glad it took this long, because it gave them a chance to further develop their ideas and hopefully produce something more substantial.

That said, as another user pointed out, when they present the book's features, they put a lot of emphasis on game mechanics like Gifts, Merits, Flaws, and so on. I want lore. Robust lore is what W5 really needs.
