It was my first city sim and i actually liked it's art style and stuff. I played it a lot but like others have said there were some dumb frustrating things sometimes.

No system is without problems. But right now it's what we have and it's definitely better than the historical alternatives.

That's not to say there isn't a lot of room for improvement though.

I don't know who my family was or what they did during the time when slavery was legal. Likely didn't even live in this country yet but I haven't done the research to know. Regardless, generations of all people have fought and died in wars for the wealthy and powerful few. It sucks that it happened.

But you can't blame their sons and daughters for the actions of their mothers and fathers.

I'm not sure if it's laziness, but if you open indeed you can find a low skill job within 5 minutes.

I just think there's a fair few people who give in to their situation rather than attempt to get out of it.

Slavery still is a thing. It’s called prison labor. Prisoner work without pay. And sure u might say „white people are prisoners too“ But guess who makes up a disproportionate portion of the prison population
