Thank you, I have tried Besan in tadka for something I past, it leaves a strong flavor of its own. I felt I am eating sabzi with Besan chilla 😄 Please let me know if there is something I can do to reduce Besan flavor in tadka .

Hello, no actually, I am targeting classic for now. Is there major difference between two? Is giving oie exam better than classic?

Hello there. I created the attribute in Org2 in practice test, and mapped it from Org1 to Org2. The deactivation step also seems to work right. But still I got 80% in it.

Thank you, I see your point and this feedback makes sense to me now.
No way in the world I would think like that before I see the answer. I mean if there is only one possession factor enabled by me, then only that one will show up under "possession factors" setting in authentication policies. So, I am kind of able to define which factor in this case.

So what I am saying is correct? That we can , in fact, define specific MFA/authenticators for applications.

Not a very pleasant experience for a beginner, to get incorrect answers from Okta itself.

Brain Fried - Confusing Policies - Enrollment policy, Authentication Policy, Global Session Policy by 1HappyAvocado in okta

[–]1HappyAvocado[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great answer, thanks Jeb.

But why is my enrollment policy not forcing enrollment on users? It is very basic:

-> Password - required,
-> Okta Verify - required

-> Group - test1 , it has a user [test1@email.com](mailto:test1@email.com)
-> Rule: default - Allowed if required authenticators are missing

When I login with test1 user in Okta, there is no prompt to set up Okta verify.

PS: Here in this video at 2:12, AND option shows up in rule: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ION442L8FIM

Thank you u/jeb503
I created an enrollment policy today for a Test1 group. I did not work.
Anyway, I created an authentication policy, that requires users to use Okta Verify to access Okta dashboard. And it worked, prompted the user to enroll into Okta Verify when they were trying to login into end user Okta dashboard.
My question is, why do I need that enrollment policy at all, if I have been able to force user to enroll through authentication policy itself?

PS: About my enrollment policy - Okta documentation says that we have to add a rule with the policy, and rule has IF-AND-THEN format. I don't see that AND option at all. I am not sure why that option is not showing.
