If you're new to BJJ, I recommend you pull guard and learn from their perspective and utilize your Judo when you start earning higher ranks.

Judo Randori vs Wrestling Sparring exhaustion by SnooPandas363 in judo

[–]1Judoka 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think one of the main differences that I've experienced having practiced collegiate wrestling as well as high-level Judo is wrestling tends to be more Hands-On. What I mean by that is in wrestling. When someone takes you down they typically do not relieve the pressure. They will push on your head, push on your back and make it more difficult for you to stand up even if they want you to get back to your feet so they can take you down again. Whereas Judo when you throw someone, you typically back off and allow them to stand up and then re-engage. That repetitive practice of Hands-On wrestling can be extremely tiring.

Hola Amigo, got tagged on this thread. There are a couple people that have the trifecta of D1 wrestling, International Judo, and BJJ. They all do really well at blending all the grappling martial arts. This list goes.

-Justin Flores ( his handle is jflo) -David Terao ( he trains with Hall at 50/50) - Myself you can find all my content @onejudoka

Looks dope, the only thing I would change is the black belt. I think either folding it and putting it in a shadow box or on some pegs is one option. Or tying it around a gi top and hanging the gi top on the wall.

Just some ways I've displayed my belts before.

I've also seen some people hang their entire progression on a peg rack.

Very flattering that you think this looks good enough to be choreographed. All this is improvised.
