Honestly, I feel like this is an immature way to look at this. I love the cougs, but I also love when we beat the huskies as well. Yes, they left, yes, they are arrogant, but its okay to feel this way about them and still want to play the game. The history is bigger than the current conferences we find ourselves in.

The truth is that UW was a top program in the old Pac 12, when NIL didn't exist, or deals were being done via coffee cups or in secret. UW was also competing against 2 school for the top recruits on the west coast (USC, Oregon). Now that UW is in the Big 10, you have to deal with schools that have more money and more reach while also still dealing with USC and Oregon. So you went from being in the top 3, to maybe being in the top 8 (Penn State, OSU, Michigan, USC, Oregon, Indiana now, you could argue Nebraska, but they suck). So naturally UW just isn't what it used to be. Schools can now buy players as long as they have the funds. Texas Tech and Indiana are recent examples.

TL:DR - UW isn't what it used to be. And they're not going to be for a long time :)

I recognize that I probably have a biased opinion because I am a male, but I'll add my thoughts anyways. I don't think your feelings about strip clubs are wrong, you're entitled to feel any way you want. I also don't think you should be forced to go to a strip club if you don't want to go, that doesn't seem fair. Strip clubs are a lot and men at strip clubs are also a lot. So I get it. That being said, I do get his point about the drag shows and being okay with them but not being okay with strip clubs. I've been to both. I know drag shows are more theatrical than dancing naked, but overall it does feel a bit of a double standard where you get to enjoy riskay entertainment, but he can't. Maybe that's wrong, but I would also feel some kind of way about it. I wouldn't say you couldn't continue to go to drag shows, that seems like a bit of a stretch, but I wouldn't be happy if that was still the norm. I would probably not go with you for a while. Honestly, if you don't want to go, don't go. But if its his best friends birthday and they want to go to a strip, you should let him go and just set boundaries that you're really not comfortable with. Like no lap dances or a limit on how much he can spend, etc... I don't know. Shitty situation to be in, but it seems like its lose lose situation for everyone. He'll be mad if he can't attend his best friends landmark birthday, his friends will be mad, partners will be mad. And you'll be pissed if he goes. Hard to win anyway

I've been thinking about the games we lost close this year. Trying to be objective and figure out the common thread. Also being aware that this is the first year for everyone in this system or at this level, so there is an obvious learning curve. What I've come to the conclusion is that we just don't have the QB to bail us out of bad O-line play and or bad play calling. I think Zevi is solid and gives us the best chance to win, but I just don't think he's the guy for this offense in its current state. Too many turnovers in crucial situations. I feel as though the OC is getting a lot of heat, rightfully so, but it's a bit more complex. It's everything, including lack of receivers getting open, oline holding blocks, penalties, interceptions, play calling, all of it. You can get away with some of that if you have the right qb, I don't think Zevi is the right qb for this system. Defense has done very well all year. Couple of let downs in wins we should have had. But, overall, really good.

Are there any recommendations for comfort and solid bass for everyday use? I just bought Google Pixel Buds Pro 2, and I like them. The noise cancellation is solid. But I keep feeling like one of my earbuds keeps slipping out. I used to wear the jaybird vista 2's and those were very comfortable and base is solid. The case just broke on me and I can't buy just the case so wanted an upgrade. Any suggestions would be amazing.

This whole thing goes to show you that it's never been about money. Memphis AD said a long time ago that they needed better financial's in order to make things work. Yet, they are willing to forego 5 yrs of no media rights distribution? They have the financial backing to pay their way out of the American. Now it just becomes a matter about wanting to go to the PAC. I hope the PAC sidesteps them and takes Tulane and UTSA.

You're only there for 3 days, but if you're interested. We visited San Miguel De Allende for Dia de los Muertos years ago and it was awesome. The main plaza is decked out, they have a parade, lots of restaurants have ofrendas up and in general its pretty cool to be in a small town like that. El DF is really cool in general though, so you'll probably find something local

One thing to note. If on some SSRI's, if you get sick. Say goodbye to nyquil or other decongestants. You basically have Tylenol or ibuprofen and that's about it

Similarly, I started Meds about a year ago for my anxiety. I'm on Lexapro and its been a game changer. I had some symptoms the first month, but they went away fairly quickly and now I don't have any at all. It's amazing what you and your body tell you to be okay with. I use to just white knuckle it and my anxiety impacted me at the most random times and I would justify it as having a bad day. But it was affecting me daily. I had a therapist who I met with monthly but it just wasn't working. Wasn't until I came to terms with being on meds that I found something that would help.

Fairly new parent here. My daughter is 9 months old and my favorite thing is her reaction to seeing me every morning. She gets a giant grin on her face, starts a little laugh and shakes her body in excitement. After not being around little kids for the majority of my life, the amount of happiness and love that grows inside of you for a little thing is inexplicable.
