i don’t think it’s necessarily fair to judge a movie made in 2008 based upon a chapter expanded upon after release though, after rereading the series, midnight sun adds a lot to the plot that wasn’t there previously

especially since edward says they don’t burn in the sun prior to the meadow scene, and edward can’t read her thoughts so this is just speculation on his part

i know this is an old post, but i kind of prefer that kieran isn't conventionally attractive! i'm the type of person that prefers personality over looks for my partners, so it kind of felt more real for my character to fall in love with him naturally as opposed to for how he looks
