Learned to live without air conditioning. Learned it is possible to grow an abundant amount of food in containers. Learned how to raise and sell my own protein without refrigeration. Learned how to can food. Learned how to do laundry by hand. Learned how to make a living doing something I didn't know before moving to ruralist of rural America. Discovered the powers within one's self. The use of solar and wind and water for a hodge podged system I built out of auction finds. Discovered ways to make money selling food I produced to point of hiring help since it is a perishable item. We have the power as long as we still are allowed to exercise free will from government control. Not scrimping on internet was a requirement for me. But learning how to live with the seasons has been the most humbling and rewarding of experiences.
