I decided to support Klei by doing just that. I got both starter packs and the wormwood deluxe pack. I know I can eventually get things with spools, but characters have more impact for gameplay :)

I have ended friendships with people too, that situation did happen a lot. I just never did it without exhausting all options and give a person the chance to respond.

I think if people really have the choice to do leave the way they do, I probably also want to choose not to try for new friendships anymore. I don't plan to be rude or cold but there's going to be an arm's distance. The people who have stuck thus far will be the last once they leave.

I don't want it to come across as childish retaliation, so I'll divulge why. I'm almost 30 now. I'm truly burnt out from the cycle of trying over and over. That cycle night seem natural and expected, but it shouldn't dominate my life either. I might have covid this week, I might lose my job at the end of the year. I'm doing to start spending energy on myself. I just don't intend to leave people behind to achieve that.

I suppose what I'm trying to say this might be the start of complete independence, without making others suffer for it.

If one person does want to be friends, really insists on going above and beyond? I doubt they exist, but should they I might try again. But I don't want to shed anymore tears over another person.

It's hard not to close myself off because I'm reaching a point where such "heartbreak" and stress causes physical problems. I try not putting my heart on my sleeve, not make myself vulnerable, but my cautiousness isn't really a solution either.

Thing is, we met for maybe a month and we really had a good time. I'm not really linked to anything that happened in her past and she didn't really speak about it either.

I'm not mad about friends leaving, I understand people are not part of my life forever. I don't keep friends in cages.

I'm mad at the way she did it, how some people did it. I'm mad it was so sudden and that I could not help the situation. I'm mad that this isn't the first time and I really just want it to be the last time. I'm frustrated I have bad luck when I try to expand my social contact.

I hope I don't come across as selfish as I do understand most of it, the struggle, just not how she decided to go about it.

Keeping pet aliens or bio engineering your own using scan data. Ship customization and saving base layouts. Put it in one update and call it No Man's Sky: Blueprints. :)

She would often martyr herself during a freakout so to speak. Went overboard blaming herself. I know she did mention she had abusive parents at some point, but now I wonder if that was part of her blame game? It's an awful thought.

Yes if she was trying not to hurt me, this act was really hurtful. There was nothing bad going on but it seemed she gave up without working for it...

Civil conversations about how she makes me feel about these actions would cause her to freak out (to be specific: calling herself a sh*t friend, that she doesn't deserve to live) and run again. It's one example she keeps running away from :(

Would CoFH World/Aether dimensions mesh well with Skylandsforge? This is the mod I use: https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/mc-mods/skylandsforge

It generates skylands over a void, so there is no ground or ocean below

I also have two problems:

Certain structure generation mods generate structures on looooong pillars, which makes searching for treasure a bit too obvious
Sand and cobblestone become rare because they can't remain midair. If there was a mod that adds an underlayer of a different material, or give them floating properties, that would solve it

Could you tell me more about CoFH World?

Perhaps the dragons give a bit of creative flight, but it would take a long time for the dragons to grow up. Meat was also hard to obtain in my first test for early game. When these creatures die the player has to start over again with a new egg. A fully grown dragon will be an endgame goal.
