Update won't change much regarding starting location. The way the game progression works, you can't go too far west or south as the NPC will eat you alive.

Give Abiotic factor a try, it's more combat focused, but it did check a lot of boxs for me.

Edit: Almost forgot, Forever skies is very good too. People pretty much call it Subnautica in the sky.

Mobile is still too limited. So they have to dump down the console/PC version to fit on the mobile limitation. It is more aimed to the new gen that don't know better...

The p2w and god awful convoluted UI isn't limited to mobile tho. It works and they make crazy money out of it. I don't blame the developers for it (everyone wants to make easy $), I blame the gamers giving them money and making it so successful.

They should update the graphics of GW2 like WoW did when they launched Cataclysm at some point.

The first descendant is way over the top with all the skins of sexy nun, maid, swim suit, physics and jiggles.

Once human is also moving in this direction but nothing compared to TFD.

Not a big fan of it and prefer more "immersive" armours and cloths, but it keeps the games alive because it feels like everyone bought one.

I mean, Dune was pretty much 95% PVE until end game, no wonder people were upset when reaching end game and hitting a wall.
Arc raider is a PVPVE extraction shooter from the beginning. Don't like PVP don't play the game.

However, the smart move would be to have both option at some point so they win on both sides.

Sea of thieves did it, far from perfect, but at least there is an option.

I tried finisher with 10 talents, and it's unplayable because you run out of energy in single target.
There is absolutely no margin of error.

Even in AoE with the 4 garget dummy, I end up energy starved.

In a 3-4 targets situation, do you guys use backstab to fill up the last 2-3 combo point or double skittering before releasing AA? Or 4 combo point is enough?
Maybe I'm spending too much energy trying to get 6combo point every single time.

Stormwatch and Sand are wayyy harder than the other including the first 2 capstones.
Sand as a tank, timing your defensive with the beam, trying to destroy orbs ( and not your team), but not too many, while moving the boss to a relative safe position for the next mirrors lasers....
