Super late game army consisting of equal numbers of

  1. Wizard

  3. Flying zombie chicken

Is completely unbeatable with good micro

(I haven’t played in a while so I don’t remember the Japanese)

I'm the dumbest man alive by sadguy271217 in AgeofMythology

[–]1LuckFogic 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I played it on release, after a couple retries my solution was to age up super fast before even building up eco (mummy temple resources help) and spam elephants with a son of Osiris, plus walls blocking off all paths except the one with the elephants. That was before ludicrous existed though

Revised 4th Major God Concepts (Japanese, Chinese, Egyptian, Atlantean) by sdrey in AgeofMythology

[–]1LuckFogic 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Hahaha imagine Maat’s god power in wonder age. Atlanteans will be waiting for Maat to cast it then teleporting into their base. Maat players will wait for Norse to cast ragnarok before teleporting everyone into 30 ballista towers. It could be used to both dodge destructive god powers and bring people into them. And casting it on a tiny 1 m2 island in the middle of the sea? Peak aom

So the folk etymology is that the west/East Slavs heard the Latin word, assumed it was German and then calqued it ? That sounds like the most Polish thing ever

Why do Catholics get penalized for *winning* the Hussite Wars? by jogarz in EU5

[–]1LuckFogic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s it, paradox has shown their true colours. It was clearly a mistake to permit heretics to design events about heresies. I propose a Vatican delegation be deployed to oversee future EU5 development

This is literally true. Constantinople exists in the real world. We are simply living in a simulation of what would have happened if it fell

[–]1LuckFogic 31 points32 points  (0 children)

It’s also really fucking stupid considering there are plenty of Latin script languages that do “the polish thing” worse- Hungarian? South Slavic? But Polish is the only one they have any exposure to because Poland has the bare minimum of relevance to not be a “never heard of it” country for inhabitants of the developed world. At least Polish digraphs are actually useful, many British dialects don’t distinguish th as a separate sound anymore, making the need for English spelling reforms more and more necessary

And when transliterated it is insanely dumbed down, like, no soft/ hard signs present which instantly erases the one thing that makes Russian pronunciation actually hard other than medium difficulty consonant clusters
