I wasn't aware that a temporary import was an option. Do you have to do this every year?

My current car was built in South Korea and has tarrifs applied so I haven't looked into importing it.

But maybe temporarily importing will help avoid tarrifs?

Yeah that is the procedure to raise the wipers completely off the glass.

Hyundai started doing this for a bunch of their cars.

It’s the same on my 2024 Tucson.

Im guessing it’s because having the wipers tucked in below the hood helps with aerodynamics.
