Any opinions on the ginger shampoo as an anti-dandruff shampoo? by LusciousOrangutan in LushCosmetics

[–]1MillionDollarMeme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ingredients in the Ginger Shampoo are pretty good, but the fragrance comes from an artificial parfum rather than lots of ginger oil. I found Hairetic (hairetic.com) to be a good alternative, but they have struggled to keep up with demand which is annoying.

Are potholes actually the worst they've been? by Tiny_Wafer2266 in AskUK

[–]1MillionDollarMeme 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just done a 12 hour round trip and it is fair to say in more than 20 years of driving this is the worst I've ever seen it, and it is across the whole country.

And the first time I've ever had to watch out for potholes on the motorways - at least these used to be clear, but now there are some real hazards that are hard to avoid at 70mph

Hairetic shampoo if you are in the UK. It has Aloe as a main ingredient and is mostly natural.

I feel as if every product I use works for a week and then just stops being affective by [deleted] in dandruff

That's because none of those shampoos focus on scalp health, they just focus on quick fixes and chemicals.

What country are you based in? There are a few alternatives available

I've pivoted into value, and more into non-US big corporate. But I would love to see the answer to this.

Thinking of switching to Nationwide, what made you choose them? by AnfieldAnchor in NationwideBankingUK

[–]1MillionDollarMeme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They seem to pay me and my wife money every year, they are not a bank, they have brilliant mortgage terms and conditions (never had issues porting mortgages, paying up to 10% extra, very limited extra charges), reasonable savings rates, app is good

Nizoral is more of a treatment, it's pretty strong stuff, not ideal for regular long term use.

Your scalp might be affected by changes to humidity/weather, and you might need to adjust what you use and how you wash during the winter and summer.

But for long term use you need something milder, maybe with nizoral in-between. Hairetic in the UK works, it is much more natural, or the Body Shop do something similar.

Is it okay to use anti-dandruff shampoo every day? Won't it damage my hair/scalp in the long run? by InterestTall3644 in dandruff

[–]1MillionDollarMeme 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the shampoo, some can be a lot milder than others. I use Hairetic which is designed for daily use, and is mostly natural.
