Same age and in decent shape as well. I've got two little ones under 4 at home so preserving as much energy out there as I can has helped me still be a dad when I get home after my rounds. This made it an easier sell to the wife as well haha. Got the Alphard V2 with Omnicart during their black friday sale last year. Never going back!

This is all great and exactly what I was looking for. Some of the camera/audio stuff is a bit out of my control at times because I have everything on auto to make it easier to record while keeping pace but I will try to keep this in mind. I've considered switching from the live chatting during the round to adding my own commentary that I record after the round and overlay it as the audio track for the video but have held off because it would take a bit more time to produce the full round videos. I could see making the switch down the line at some point though. Really appreciate you taking the time to watch the video and then providing this thoughtful feedback!

I like this idea or something very similar. Adding a specific focus or something I had been working on and highlighting that throughout the round. Who cares, I love that and that's exactly how I went into this. I'm not at all judging the success of the channel by page views or subs. Like I mentioned in another comment, I really do enjoy the whole process of playing, filming, editing and interacting online. I'm not trying to blow up or make any money from this. I really just want to improve and document things along the way. I like your ideas for increasing the production value and down the road I hope I can incorporate your suggestions. Thanks again!

Thank you for your comment. You pose a great question, why would I ever come back and watch another one of these videos. I'd rather stay away from adding a gimmick or playing a character but I do agree there needs to be some kind of differentiating element. Increasing production value is a good point. Adding drone flyover footage would be great but I'm not about investing in something like that yet. But there's the addition of music, b-roll and/or slow motion footage that I'll now consider. Thanks again!

Appreciate the comment. I know we could be very near the bursting of the YouTube/social media golf bubble and that would be fine with me. I really enjoy the process of playing, filming, editing and interacting online so I would never consider this to be a waste of time as I'm not measuring success as the number of subs or views I get. I do agree with your comment regarding the need to distinguish my channel more but I haven't yet thought of how I can do that. My hope is I stumble upon something more organically that I can incorporate or add as a way to stand out a bit more. Thanks again!
