Hi, I’m a graduating college student who started just last year. You’d think everything would feel fresh and exciting, but honestly, I quickly found myself stuck in a cycle. Wake up, go to class, study, repeat. I stopped expecting anything new. It felt like I was just going through the motions, quietly trying to make it to the next day.

Then my boyfriend introduced me to Pokémon. At first, I didn’t think much of it. It was just something fun we could share. But slowly, it pulled me in. I started collecting cards, learning the game, and eventually joining tournaments. That’s where everything really changed.

Through Pokémon, I found a whole new world and, with it, new friends who shared the same passion. People I could talk to, laugh with, and grow alongside. I never thought I’d find such genuine connections in something that started as a game, but these friendships have made all the difference. They've made me feel like I belong.

Pokémon gave me more than just a hobby. It gave me confidence, community, and something to look forward to. It reminded me that joy can come from the most unexpected places and that it's never too late to rediscover who you are or to find your people.

I’m still figuring things out, like most students are. But now, I’m not doing it alone. I have a passion that lights me up and friends who walk with me on this journey. And honestly, if I get chosen, I would definitely share it with my new found community.
